Rice Construction Contracting Inc. (RCC) is a young but growing excavation and general contracting company working on projects throughout Southwestern Ontario. We're action-oriented and fast-moving, no two days are alike, with a steady mix of unique projects across both the private and public sectors. We're hiring a Site Supervisor to help run our jobs in the field.
Much of our work is highly technical and genuinely unique. Many jobs involve detailed construction plans and precise grading, so attention to detail and a strong grasp of the numbers matter here. You'll be right in the action — with plenty of modern equipment to operate.
What you'll do
Oversee day-to-day operations on active job sites, keep work on track, and make sure the job is built to plan and done safely. You'll work from construction drawings and grade plans to hit precise grading targets, and you'll operate excavation equipment — excavators, dozers, and more — across a wide range of earthworks projects.
What you'll need
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and grade plans
- Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and slopes, and the ability to hit precise grading targets
- Solid grasp of basic construction methodology and processes
- Understanding of site management and on-site safety
- General working knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience operating excavation equipment (excavators, dozers, etc.) is a strong asset
Nice to have
- Experience with concrete flatwork is a definite bonus

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
