Cook – Barrio (ByWard Market)
Barrio is looking for a reliable, organized, and fast Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a high‑energy Latin‑inspired restaurant in the heart of the ByWard Market, focused on consistency, quality, and teamwork.
What you’ll do:
- Daily prep following our recipes and standards
- Portioning, labeling, and maintaining product rotation
- Supporting line cooks during service when needed
- Keeping prep area clean, organized, and food‑safe
- Working efficiently to meet daily prep lists
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a professional kitchen (prep or line) at least 2 years
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Positive attitude and team‑first mindset
- Availability on weekdays + weekends
