Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our (afternoon shift) production team and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee daily manufacturing activities, coordinate with team members, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, foster teamwork, and optimize workflow to meet production goals. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations and production personnel, on the afternoon shift (leading a team of 10-15 employees)
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, performance feedback, and mentoring.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Monitor production metrics, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
- Ensure machining, welding, assembly, paint and packaging processes and procedures are followed.
- Conduct huddle meetings and communicate production goals and operational updates.
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Manage labor utilization and overtime to meet budget objectives.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software or ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze production data and make informed operational decisions.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
