Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate with Maintenance / Mechanical abilities to join our production team.
Experience in a food production facility an asset. Must be able to lift up to 25kgs (50lbs) repeatedly throughout the day, working as part of a team.
Cleanliness is essential in a food production environment.
Production Associate is the primary function of the role, however we are looking for a candidate who can, when needed assist with maintenance, and small mechanical items, observe and troubleshoot when there are irregularities in operating production machines.
The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various machinery and tools. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal production performance. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Must be able to lift up to 25kgs (50lbs) repeatedly throughout the day, working as part of a team
- Assist in production processes and setup for production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment including
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools,
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure machinery and components meet specifications.
- Use basic math skills to measure and verify parts and components accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven experience with mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to perform quality inspections and use measurement tools.
- Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
