Detailed Responsibilities

Knowledge of the restaurant including all products, menus and promotions, and communicates information in appealing and informative manner to all guests

Knowledge of the hotel property including location details, area information, amenities and hours of operation

Table service: taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen while following all standards as it pertains to each task

Banquets and event service

Ensure food is presented with exceptional level of detail prior to delivering to guests

Delivery of food & beverage to tables in dining areas

Support In-Room Dining service

Processing bills and taking payments in a timely manner

Handling guest concerns and queries with and without the support of the management team

Provide highest level of professionalism in all guest or team member interactions

Clearing, setting, and polishing of tables, glassware and utensils
-
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of service equipment; such as coffee and ice machines, refrigeration, carts, or A/V equipment and other electronics

Preparation of dining room service stations before, after and during each service

Maintain overall cleanliness of dining room, common areas and extensions of the greater property when in-use (i.e. patio, rooftop, event spaces and other outdoor areas)

Perform on-going side duties, complete checklists and other tasks as assigned on each shift

Proper adherence to cash handling procedures as outlined in company policies

Correct use of POS system; adhering to all company standards and policies

Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and abide by uniform standards/dress code

Answering phones and assisting guests with product, event, reservation and other inquiries

Attend staff meetings and training seminars as required
