Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Operations (vacation rentals) to manage daily housekeeping and maintenance employees and functions, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage teams, streamline processes, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the logistics and scheduling of cleaning crews across multiple locations with tight turnaround times
- Manage and conduct quality inspections of completed cleaning work
- Recruit new team members to support seasonal operations
- Conduct interviews and coordinate the hiring process for new staff
- Plan, organize, and execute training for new and existing crew members
- Maintain and manage spreadsheets, files, and operational documentation
- Organize schedules, tasks, and team assignments to ensure efficient operations
- Communicate expectations and coordinate workflows between team members and job sites
- Provide administrative and operational support to keep daily operations running smoothly,
Qualifications
- Highly organized with strong planning and coordination skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, files, and administrative systems
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff preferred
- Experience in office-based or administrative roles coordinating people and tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
