William Academy is seeking an experienced high school computer science teacher to teach a summer grade 11 computer science class (ICS3U).
A successful candidate would use a variety of teaching strategies to meet and support the diverse learning needs of students; incorporate a variety of creative tools and teaching practices to enhance student involvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with students, and administrators
- Strong skills to work in a collaborative working environment
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience with teaching international students
- Familiarity with Growing Success and triangulation of assessments
- Familiarity with OneDrive, Zoom and Moodle
- Develop daily lesson plans and prepare subject material according to the Ontario curriculum
- Maintenance of student portfolios, including assessments For/As/Of Learning
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
