Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clients, staff, or goods safely and efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge, and good communication skills. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries or transportation services while maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including passenger vans, car, or delivery trucks in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Transport clients and goods to designated locations on scheduled routes or as requested
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and addressing client needs courteously
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding schedules, delays, or route changes
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during transportation
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving.
Requirements
- Class 5 license.
- Air Brake Endorsement (code 15).
- Ability to lift cargo weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation is preferred
- Good customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse populations is preffered
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
