We are seeking both Skilled Residential Carpenters and New apprentice Carpenters to join our construction team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will be responsible for building single-family homes and multi-family dwellings with a focus on precision, quality, and structural soundness. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, typical of Saskatchewan, and be an integral part of a team that values hard work, craftsmanship, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct framing, walls, roofs, and other structural components of residential buildings
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials according to building plans
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with a team of carpenters and laborers to complete tasks on schedule
- Follow safety protocols and comply with local building codes
- Work efficiently in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and respect toward team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction
- Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and construction materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation to job sites
