Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home support to clients requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about caregiving and committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The Home Care Aide will work closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and well-being in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support with mobility and transfer assistance to ensure safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health status
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry to maintain a clean living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Help with errands, shopping, and transportation as needed
- Follow care plans established by healthcare professionals to meet individual needs
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or family members
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those with dementia is highly valued
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for mobility assistance or household tasks
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with vulnerable populations

Pay: $23.50-$30.00 per hour
