Overview
Embrun Ford is growing again. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic with 3 minimun years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles and equipment. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components for inspection or replacement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to complete repairs or move equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic S orT Licence
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not mandatory.
