Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swedish Relaxation Massage Technician to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from tension. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a tranquil and professional environment.
Work as little as 1 shift up to 5 shifts a week.
You will be hired as a Sub-Contractor and not as an employee.
Starting at $42/hr plus performance bonuses of $4/hr and tips. with raise after 6 months.
Duties
- Perform Swedish relaxation Massages up to 1.5hrs per session.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs and preferences prior to each session.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage and recommend self-care practices for continued wellness.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients and address any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure clear understanding between Technician and client regarding treatment goals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
