Yip Cider is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, motivated
Cook to join our kitchen team in Long Reach, New Brunswick. Our taproom serves pizza and casual food in a fun, fast-paced environment overlooking the Saint John River.
Position Details
- Position: Line Cook
- Location: Yip Cider, Long Reach, NB
- Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Wage: $17–$18/hour, depending on experience and performance
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock workstations before service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow food safety and kitchen procedures
- Assist with food prep and inventory management
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
