Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Wanted

Our warm and welcoming co-operative preschool in Hamilton is looking for a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team.
We are a small, community-based preschool offering half-day programming for children aged 2.5 to 4 years old. Our program is unique in that we work closely with families, who volunteer in the classroom each day and play an active role in our preschool community.
We are seeking an experienced second staff member who is:
- Down-to-earth, kind, and approachable
- Flexible and easy-going
- Confident stepping in when needed, while also comfortable standing back and allowing play to unfold naturally
- Experienced in early childhood settings
- A thoughtful observer who reflects on children’s interests and development
- Able to plan beautiful, natural provocations and invitations to play based on observations of the children and group dynamic
- Interested in a shorter work day and enjoying summers off
This role would be ideal for an experienced educator seeking meaningful work in a supportive, relationship-based environment.
