Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, cabinetry, and finishing. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects such as residential, commercial, and industrial sites, utilizing a broad skill set to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using hand tools and power tools
- Install cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components with precision
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and finishing techniques to ensure quality surfaces
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work in coordination with licensed professionals when necessary
- Estimate project materials and labor requirements for accurate planning
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or skilled labor within construction or manufacturing environments Is an asset but not necessar.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, and restoration projects is highly desirable
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory
- Handyman experience or background in general construction is beneficial
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites
