We are searching for a Human Resource Generalist to join our team.
As the Human Resource Generalist, you will provide support and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of human resources matters. This position will require a Human Resource professional who is experienced and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment.
Specific job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Full cycle recruitment for all levels of positions within the organization.
- Preparing, editing job descriptions and postings for current and future needs in the organization.
- Sourcing and working with various recruitment platforms and recruiters.
- Assist with employee onboarding ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and their managers.
- Initiate and assist with employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
- Employee relations including providing guidance on policies and procedures, performance development, training.
- Provide guidance and direction re: performance management and review processes.
- Assist with benefit, payroll administration and data file management.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 3 years of experience as HR Generalist
- Experience in real estate development, property management an asset
- Knowledge of Payworks and ADP considered an asset.
- Proven track record of effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously as well as ability to work at a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
- Analytical, detail orientated and possess a business acumen
- Possesses well-developed consensus-building and communications skills and can interface with all levels and functions within the organization.
- Strong communication skills (French & English), both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software
