Reporting to the Manager, Operations, you’ll play a critical role in safely delivering and installing inspiring workplace environments for our customers. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, working with tools, collaborating with a strong team, and providing an exceptional customer experience every day.
You’ll operate company vehicles (including 3-ton and 5-ton trucks), work on-site with clients, and contribute to high-quality furniture installations that reflect RGO’s commitment to excellence.
What You Will Do
- Load, secure, and unload furniture and equipment safely
- Operate company vehicles
- Transport furniture to customer locations with care and professionalism
- Assemble and disassemble furniture using hand and power tools (levels, drills, etc.)
- Inspect products for deficiencies and ensure quality standards are met
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through friendly, respectful interactions
- Work collaboratively with teammates to complete installations efficiently and safely
What You Will Bring
- Class 5 Drivers License (non-GDL) and current 3-year Driver’s abstract
- Prior commercial driving experience – operating commercial passenger vehicles is required, operating 3-ton and 5-ton commercial trucks an asset
- AMA Professional Driver Upgrade (paid by company)
- Intermediate to advanced experience with power tools
- Able to pass the Pre-Employment Health Assessment – able to lift up to 100lbs required
- Provide own 6-inch, Grade 1, CSA-approved steel toe boots
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team-player and customer focused
- Computer Literate
- Successfully undergo a criminal record check
Driver Eligibility Requirements
To support safe operations, candidates must be eligible to be insured under RGO’s commercial vehicle insurance policy. This includes the ability to drive company vehicles and, ideally, heavy commercial vehicles.
Successful candidates will:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License (non-GDL)
- Have a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of driving experience
- Provide a current 3-Year Driver’s Abstract
- Have a clean and current driving record (no traffic infractions, demerits, or at fault accidents) suitable for commercial vehicle operation and able to provide a claims experience letter
