Rowe Brothers Flooring is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and has strong product knowledge relating to home improvement and interior design, particularly in flooring products.
In this role, you’ll assist customers with selecting the right flooring products for their projects based on lifestyle, budget, and preferences, while providing estimates, product guidance, and exceptional service from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome customers and assist with flooring project inquiries and product selection
- Provide expert advice on flooring products, materials, and current trends

Prepare estimates and project quotes for customers
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication
- Recommend products by carefully listening to the customer's needs, lifestyle, and budget
- Collaborate with the installation team to help ensure projects run smoothly
- Assist with showroom presentation, displays, and promotional features
- Support inventory organization and general showroom operations
- Stay current on new flooring products and industry trends
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in retail sales and customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working with measurements, estimates, and project details
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, dependable, and organized
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with Sage would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of residential flooring products and applications is considered a strong asset
- Valid driver’s license required
