The Role
As the Account Director, you'll lead a portfolio of key client relationships while mentoring a talented account management team. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them achieve meaningful business outcomes while driving portfolio growth, profitability, and long-term success.
You'll partner closely with leadership to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and continually improve how work is delivered.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Growing and strengthening existing client partnerships
- Leading, coaching, and developing an engaged account management team
- Driving portfolio performance, forecasting, profitability, and client retention
- Leading strategic planning and client business reviews
- Collaborating across internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
The Ideal Candidate
You're someone who naturally builds trust and enjoys developing lasting relationships.
You think strategically but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed. You're commercially minded, accountable, and genuinely enjoy helping both clients and your team succeed.
You'll likely bring:
- 8+ years of experience in account management, client services, agency leadership, marketing, consulting, or a related business environment
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- A track record of growing strategic client relationships
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency and client outcomes
