Job description
- Directs food preparation and collaborates with the Head Chef.
- Ensure kitchen is kept clean and in compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensuring all assigned production is of the best possible quality.
- Work cooperatively as part of a team, and is always respectful of other staff, clients or customers.
- Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen's performance.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Oversees stocking, ordering, and purchasing of ingredients, ensuring that necessary ingredients are available and as fresh as possible while also minimizing spoilage and waste.
- Maintains kitchen budget.
