Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes.
- Use POS systems like Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods using effective time management skills.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at shift end.
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly.
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety standards related to beverage service and food handling.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
- Ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in hospitality environments that emphasize teamwork, time management, and excellent service delivery.
