Want to be part of a fast paced, fun bakery team at Ida’s Bakery!? We are seeking a dedicated Front Counter Bakery Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle cash transactions, prepare for the following day and ensure a positive in store experience.
Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting display items
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments
- Prepare and serve food items following proper food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas, including the kitchen and dining area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and priorities
