Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Ink Technician for a full-time day-shift opportunity in Brampton. You will prepare and adjust ink, match colours, perform quality checks and troubleshoot ink-related issues for inkjet printing production.
Previous hands-on experience with inkjet print systems is required. Broader printing experience, particularly in corrugated packaging or plastics manufacturing, is a strong asset.
Pay: $22.26 per hour

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and set up ink according to print-production specifications
- Match, formulate, measure and adjust ink for customer orders
- Prioritize ink preparation based on production requirements
- Perform quality tests to confirm colour, consistency and accuracy
- Troubleshoot ink, colour and print-quality issues
- Maintain accurate formulas, recipes, blends, samples and test records
- Monitor ink inventory and help maintain required supply levels
- Work closely with graphics, production, inventory and product-development teams
- Keep the ink room, equipment and storage areas clean and organized
- Follow all quality, manufacturing and health and safety procedures
- Complete other related ink-room duties as required
What You Bring
- At least two years of related experience in ink, printing, colour matching or formulation
- Previous hands-on experience working with inkjet print systems
- Experience preparing, measuring, mixing or adjusting ink for print production
- Ability to accurately distinguish and match colours
- Experience completing quality checks and troubleshooting ink or colour inconsistencies
- Strong attention to detail, basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to maintain accurate formulas, samples and production records
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Ability to manage changing production priorities
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a production team
Nice to Have
- Experience in corrugated printing, packaging or plastics manufacturing
- Post-secondary education in printing, graphic arts, colour technology, chemistry or a related field
Physical and Work Requirements
- Regular standing and walking throughout the shift
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working around manufacturing noise, dust and moving equipment
- Comfortable working in areas that may be hot or humid
- Possible exposure to non-toxic chemical or ink odours
- Required use of safety footwear, hearing protection and other assigned PPE
