Position: City 5 Ton Driver

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a City 5 Ton Driver who will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight in a timely, safe and secure manner. This role reports to the Operations Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire loading/picking/delivering/completing paperwork process to ensure all orders are complete and meet appointment times.
Responsibilities:
- Loading the outbound truck
- Maintains process management and paperwork
- Use ELD
- Get customer signature on a tablet app at the time of pickup and delivery
- Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules
- Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50-pound boxes
- Other duties as required
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- Class 5 Driver's Licence with air brake certification
- Ability to Operate Pallet Jacks Safely
- Experience in a Distribution Centre/Warehouse role desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Good analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Hours and Location:
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:30
- Terminal Location: Delta, BC
Remuneration:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
