Transform Hockey Academy is seeking an Academic Coordinator to support our student-athletes with daily learning in a high performance environment beginning September 2026. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, calm, and proactive, with a passion for working with athletes in a structured school environment.
Position Overview
The Academic Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a focused, respectful, and productive classroom atmosphere. This individual works closely with teachers and staff to support students academically, maintain classroom expectations, and to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage academic schedules, programming, and curriculum support for Grades 6-12 (ten - fifteen students each class size)
- Monitor student academic progress and provide ongoing support and feedback
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance
- Collaborate with coaches, staff, and leadership to ensure a balanced academic-athletic environment
- Organize study halls and academic/informational workshops
- Maintain accurate academic records and reports
- Identify and support students who require additional academic assistance
- Ensure compliance with institutional or program academic standards
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Academic Advising, or related field
- Experience in academic coordination, student services, or education environments
- Familiar with high performance or sport schooling environments (considered an asset)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with academic tracking systems or learning management platforms
- Mentorship and student development experience
- Problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments
