APJ Construction is seeking motivated and experienced Interior Construction Specialists to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, restaurant, retail, office, and institutional construction projects across Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Metal stud framing and wood framing.
- Drywall installation, boarding, patching, and repairs.
- Installation of doors, frames, hardware, and backing.
- Ceiling systems including T-bar and suspended ceilings.
- Flooring preparation and installation assistance.
- Millwork installation and finishing.
- Demolition and site preparation.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Material handling and site organization.
- Coordination with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Maintaining quality workmanship and site safety standards.
- Identifying and reporting deficiencies and site issues.
- Assisting with project completion and closeout activities.
- Performing all other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial construction, renovations, restaurant, retail, or office fit-outs.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Experience with framing, drywall, ceilings, doors, millwork, and interior finishes.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel when required.
