We are looking for someone who is more than just an accountant.
We need a highly organized, growth-minded financial professional who wants to help build and scale a multi-location company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining accounting, operational finance, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial processes
- Producing financial reports and insights for ownership
- Forecasting revenue and expenses
- Building and maintaining budgets for individual studios and departments
- Forecasting revenue, labour, operational costs, and expansion expenses
- Assisting with financial planning for new studio openings and company growth
- Monitoring KPIs, identifying trends, and helping improve profitability
- Supporting payroll, tax remittances, and government filings
- Filing GST, PST, corporate taxes, WorkSafeBC, Alberta WCB, and other required remittances
- Helping improve systems, workflows, and operational efficiencies
- Working cross-departmentally with management, operations, marketing, and ownership
- Supporting inventory and cost tracking across multiple locations
- Assisting ownership in making informed financial and operational decisions

- Experience with budgeting, operational planning, and multi-department financial oversight
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with leadership
- Someone proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented
Required Experience
- 3+ years in accounting, financial analysis, or operational finance
- Experience preparing financial reports and forecasts
- Experience with Sage50 or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Experience with payroll, reconciliations, and tax remittances
- Experience supporting operational or multi-location businesses is considered an asset
Nice to Have
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA
- Experience with retail, inventory, or service-based businesses
- Experience supporting expansion, scaling, or multi-location operations
- Experience building budgets and forecasting for growth-focused businesses
This is a full-time in-office position based in Surrey, BC.
