Job Summary
BTA Auto Car Wash & Collision is seeking a motivated and reliable Automotive Technician/Mechanic with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, brakes, filters, fluids, tire services)
- Diagnose and repair engine, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, and tire swaps
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service records
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all workplace safety procedures
- Work closely with service advisors and other technicians
Requirements
- 1–3 years of automotive repair experience
- Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
- Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with domestic, Asian, and European vehicles is an asset
