Precision Veneer is one of North America’s leading wood veneer panel providers. We have earned a reputation for attention to detail and high-quality standards that has allowed us to be involved with many prestigious projects. We are looking to hire a new team member(s) in our Veneer Breakout area and panel production lines.
Job duties/responsibilities include:
- -the handling of material (wood veneer)
- -producing custom wood veneer faces to match order requirements
- -operation of various wood veneer manufacturing machines (guillotine, gluer, splicers)
- -use of manual glue string applicators or tape applicators
- -sorting of veneer faces for repair
- -organizing and sorting of material for next phase of production line
- -quality checks (sizing, defects)
- -various machine operations and similar manufacturing activities.
- Skills required:
- -ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- -strong creative thinking
- -use of personal safety in a manufacturing environment
- -ability to work at a varied pace
- -strong attention to detail
- -ability to preform basic math calculations
- -ability to lift 25-30lbs
- -ability work work on feet for duration of shift
- -strong hand-eye coordination
- -ability to work with small hand tools (x-acto knife, glue stringers, tape dispenser)
Education/Experience:
- -Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- -No previous experience is necessary. Willing to train the right individual.
- -comfortable in a manufacturing setting

In the role of Wood Veneer Splicing & Repair, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, focusing on the precise splicing and repair of wood veneers. Reporting to the production supervisor, you will utilize core skills such as blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge, while also applying basic math and hand tools. This position requires no prior experience, making it an excellent opportunity for those with a high school diploma or GED. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure the successful completion of projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
