Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition and installation of heating, air conditioning systems, and related accessories, adhering to company, safety, manufacturer, and code requirements.
- Ensure customer property is fully protected during installation or service.
- Remove old equipment and thoroughly clean all areas used for the installation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while executing installations and job duties.
- Uphold high standards for time management and quality completion of tasks.
- Accurately complete paperwork and provide detailed debriefs on job specifics.
- Lead and supervise a helper, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
- Manage and track equipment, materials, tools, and parts for specific jobs and the company truck.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Lead Hand in HVAC installation or a related field.
- Journeyperson HVAC ticket required.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to accomplish tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs. and work in confined spaces such as attics and basements.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, safety protocols, and installation techniques.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach, and climb as required for the job.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Capability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
