The Supervisor is the direct link with the Production Assistant for the production and sanitation process. They manage employees across all departments. They oversee the human and technical resources required to ensure the proper execution of the manufacturing process, while respecting established costs and deadlines. They are familiar with ongoing and upcoming actions within their department in all areas.

Production
- Responsible for making products defined in the production schedule available to the warehouse, while meeting deadlines and quantity requirements, and ensuring quality, productivity, and employee safety;
- Organizes and implements the daily production schedule and supervises production and packaging staff;
- Ensures preparation for production line start-ups, supply management, and cleaning operations;
- Ensures execution of production and packaging schedules and raises alerts if there are any errors;
- Monitors production in compliance with processes, product quality standards, and deadlines;
- Manages equipment malfunctions and breakdowns: records, analyzes, implements corrective actions, and reorganizes production schedules and teams if necessary;
- Approves material losses and downtime.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Ensures compliance with current procedures, policies, and standards (quality, hygiene, safety, environment);
- Supervises and validates product and packaging inspections, including critical control points (CCP) and monitoring points (MP), traceability, and reacts in case of non-compliant products;
- Ensures implementation of cleaning plans, glass and plastic monitoring, and related records; Prepares daily activity reports;
- Proposes improvements and carries out corrective actions within their responsibility.
Management
- Provides professional supervision of their team;
- Re-organizes teams according to operational needs;
- Participates in production supervisor meetings;
- Presents and explains production indicators to operators and general labourers;
- Ensures workplace and environmental safety for their team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working in an industrial environment; team management experience;
- Experience in personnel management;
- Experience in the food industry is considered an asset;
- Good knowledge of computer tools;
- Good command of English and French; Spanish is an asset.
