Operations Supervisor
Field‑Based | Early Mornings | Greater Vancouver
Docker Transport is hiring an Annacis Operations Supervisor to support and oversee delivery operations across active multifamily construction sites throughout Greater Vancouver.
This is a hands‑on, field‑based role for someone who is comfortable starting early, moving between sites, and making real‑time operational decisions related to safety, access, and delivery readiness. Your day will launch from Annacis Island and continue across multiple sites in the region.
This role is not office‑based. It is suited to experienced field supervisors, operations leads, or senior coordinators ready to step into a more autonomous field role.
What This Role Is About
As the Annacis Operations Supervisor, you will act as Docker’s on‑the‑ground representative at client docks and multifamily construction sites. You’ll ensure delivery teams are properly prepared, sites are ready, and work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete pre‑delivery site assessments and readiness checks
- Verify delivery paths, access conditions, and documentation requirements
- Author and issue site‑specific Fall Protection Plans when required
- Enforce safety protocols, authorized‑personnel requirements, and client SOPs
- Conduct equipment and PPE readiness checks
- Coordinate with site supervisors, safety managers, and internal operations
- Document site conditions, issues, and follow‑up actions
- Support dock operations and ensure orderly, compliant staging and loadout
- Address and correct non‑compliance professionally and decisively

- Construction‑adjacent delivery or coordination roles
- Warehouse or dock oversight combined with site work
- Senior coordination roles with growing field responsibility
You should be comfortable:
- Working independently in the field
- Making go/no‑go decisions on site
- Addressing safety or compliance issues directly but professionally
- Working in dynamic, changing environments
Required Qualifications

- Ability to reliably start work around 5:00 AM, Monday to Friday

- Comfortable navigating active construction sites (stairs, uneven surfaces, standing/walking for extended periods)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on or around multifamily construction sites
- Familiarity with site orientations, registrations, and safety documentation
- Experience authoring or coordinating Fall Protection Plans
- Comfort using digital tools such as SharePoint and client/site portals
- Experience supporting or supervising frontline delivery or installation teams
