The Korean Canadian Cultural Association (KCCA) promotes awareness and appreciation of Korean culture and heritage within the Canadian community. Through cultural programming, educational initiatives, and community events, KCCA creates opportunities for people of all backgrounds to connect and engage.
Job Summary
KCCA is seeking an organized and motivated Event Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of summer cultural and community events. The successful candidate will assist with event coordination, administrative support, and community engagement activities while working closely with the Administrative Officer and Executive Director.

Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordinating cultural events, workshops, and community programs
- Support event setup, logistics, scheduling, and on-site event operations
- Communicate with volunteers, participants, vendors, and community partners
- Prepare promotional materials and assist with outreach activities
- Complete administrative tasks including data entry, reporting, and event documentation
- Monitor event timelines and help ensure successful program delivery
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all events
Qualifications
- Korean language skills is a must due to Foreign Exchange Teachers from abroad (Korean)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Basic administrative and computer skills
- Interest in community engagement, arts, culture, or event planning is an asset
Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada according to provincial legislation and regulations
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person with a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN). International students are not eligible.
