Tint King is Hiring: Window Tint Installer
Position: Automotive & Flat Glass Tint InstallerLocation: Tint King, SaskatoonType: Full-Time / Part-Time considered for the right person
Tint King is growing, and we’re looking for a window tint installer to join the crew. This role is heavily focused on automotive tint and flat glass tint, with the potential to grow into other areas like PPF, vinyl, wraps, decal production, and general shop work.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, wants to improve, and understands that details matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Automotive Window Tint
- Installing window film on cars, trucks, SUVs, and specialty vehicles
- Shrinking, cutting, prepping, and applying film
- Removing old tint when required
- Cleaning and prepping glass properly before installs
- Checking finished work for dust, fingers, gaps, and imperfections
- Helping keep installs efficient, clean, and consistent
Flat Glass Tint
- Installing tint, security, and decorative films on residential and commercial glass
- Measuring windows accurately
- Cutting and handling larger pieces of film
- Working on-site professionally and cleanly
- Helping with prep, clean-up, and customer job completion
Shop Duties
- Washing and prepping vehicles when needed
- Keeping tools, film, and work areas organized
- Helping with general shop cleaning
- Assisting other team members when required
- Learning Tint King processes and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Experience is a huge asset, especially with automotive tint, but attitude matters too.
The right person is:
- Detail-oriented and picky about their work
- Reliable and shows up ready to work
- Good with their hands
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Comfortable working around customer vehicles
- Willing to learn and improve
- Able to handle a fast-paced shop environment
- Professional with customers when needed
- Not scared of hard work, heat guns, squeegees, or being lightly roasted by coworkers
Experience That Helps
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Automotive window tint
- Flat glass tint
- Paint protection film
- Vinyl/wrap installs
- Plotters/cutting software
- Vehicle detailing or prep
- Customer service in an automotive setting
Training may be available for the right person, but we’re especially interested in someone with tint experience who can grow with the company.
