Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of building and renovation projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse tasks in a dynamic construction environment, supporting skilled trades and ensuring project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and familiarity with essential construction tools and techniques.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support construction activities
- Perform demolition, site clearing, and basic restoration tasks as needed
- Support carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, and flooring installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist in project execution
- Assist with plumbing, welding, tile laying, and other specialized trades under supervision
- Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times
Experience
- Prior experience working with hand tools and basic construction tasks is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, or construction drawings is a plus
- Experience in carpentry, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, or plumbing is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
