Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling practices and sanitation protocols.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, answer questions about menu items, and recommend specials or drinks as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Experience with cashiering, food service operations, and hospitality best practices is a plus.
