About the Role: Wild Adventure Yukon is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team in Carcross. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across guest experiences, retail, food & beverage, and tour logistics during our high-volume cruise tourism season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations: Oversee daily department functions, manage staff scheduling, and lead team briefings.
- Cruise Logistics: Coordinate guest arrivals/departures to perfectly align with strict cruise ship timelines.
- Guest & Team Leadership: Maintain excellent service standards, resolve guest issues, and mentor/train seasonal staff.
- Revenue & Facilities: Support retail/F&B growth, monitor inventory, and ensure facilities remain safe and guest-ready.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3–7 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, or outdoor adventure operations.
- Strong experience supervising teams or managing seasonal staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Assets: Experience with cruise tourism, remote locations, or retail/F&B operations.
Work Environment: This is a dynamic, fast-paced outdoor tourism environment that requires flexibility, including weekend and holiday work during peak operational months.
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
