National Paving is seeking a reliable and safety-focused AZ Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will operate a live bottom trailer transporting asphalt and aggregate materials to paving and construction projects.
This position offers both day and night shift opportunities during the construction season and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a professional paving crew.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ-class tractor-trailer with live bottom trailer.
- Transport asphalt, aggregates, and construction materials to and from job sites.
- Complete daily circle checks and vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and paving crews.
- Follow all company safety policies and Ministry of Transportation regulations.
- Assist with general duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Experience operating live bottom trailers is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of asphalt paving operations is an asset.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime during peak season.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
