HR, Administration & Accounts Associate (Full-Time | Calgary NE, AB)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Accounts Associate to join a dynamic team in Calgary NE. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both HR, Accounts functions and executive operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Administer employee benefits programs
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support employee relations and provide HR guidance
- Maintain HRIS systems (ADP Workforce preferred)
- Processing of payroll on bi-weekly basis and ensure accuracy
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Ensure company employment practices comply with the Alberta Employment Standards Code and applicable federal legislation.
- Maintain HR framework — including job descriptions, grading, policies, and the employee handbook
Accounts Associate:
· Process and enter AP invoices into ERP (both PO and non-PO transactions).
· Reconcile corporate Visa statements, maintain vendor accounts and payment details.
· Prepare month-end accrual entries and balance sheet schedules
· Run AP ageing reports, coordinate with the Warehouse team on purchase orders and inventory-related AP entries
· Support the Finance department with ad hoc finance and administration tasks as required
Executive Support:
- Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling for a senior executive
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries
- Compile and analyze data for leadership
- Support internal communications and special projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR or related experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS is a requirement
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (accounting knowledge is a plus)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
