Automotive Service Technician (310S Licensed) / Shop Foreman
Kanata Wheels is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, motivated, and passionate Shop Foreman / Licensed Automotive Technician (310S) to join our team.
As part of Kanata Wheels, you'll work in a fast-paced, enthusiast-driven environment where quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and a love for the automotive industry are at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while delivering exceptional service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, brake inspections, and tune-ups
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair recommendations
- Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, and transmission systems
- Perform wheel alignments and preventative maintenance services
- Accurately document inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair needs, recommendations, and timelines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean and organized manner
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Licensed 310S Technician
- Previous experience in an automotive repair environment
- Own basic automotive tools
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with automotive repair manuals, shop equipment, and diagnostic software
- Solid computer, reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
