Terra Torque Systems is a small business based in Barrie, ON. Terra Torque specializes in pile foundation systems. The company was founded by brothers Colin & James in 2018, and since inception has expanded to be able to undertake a large scope of work including; helical piles, micropiles, ground screws, shoring/bracing, solar arrays, testing, and rock drilling.

Job Title: Skilled Labourer/Operator
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labour tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of worksites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools as required
- Operate heavy equipment including drill rigs, skid steers, or excavators as required
- Install helical piles, micropiles, and/or ground screws under direction
- Read and interpret site plans or work orders
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a construction or labour-intensive role preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment or power tools in a construction/foundation setting is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- WHMIS certification is an asset
- Working at Heights certification is an asset
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- Valid Class G driver's licence required; Class DZ licence is an asset
- Ability to work in varying outdoor conditions
- Occasional travel and out-of-town work will be required; overnight stays may be necessary
Pay is commensurate with skill set and experience ($25-$35/hr).
