Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Handy Man with roofing experience to join our team who will complete jobs as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating the ability to handle a wide range of home improvement projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete jobs as needed, including roofing jobs.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Handy Man, professional roofer, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance techniques and methods.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
