We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team in Owen Sound. This position involves delivering goods efficiently and safely to our customers while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations within Owen Sound and surrounding areas
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during deliveries
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse operations, including moving and forklift operation preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Previous experience in warehouse or delivery roles is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules
- Clean driving abstract
- Prior experience with commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory
