Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service while fostering a positive team environment
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards
- Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste
- Support menu planning and development by contributing creative ideas aligned with culinary trends and guest preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous sanitation standards
- Coordinate with catering and banquet departments to deliver seamless service for events and special functions
- Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, training, and performance feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills and leadership capabilities
- Extensive banquet experience coupled with supervisory responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience managing dietary departments
- Demonstrated expertise in food production, catering, restaurant management, and inventory control
- Strong background in food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen management practices
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively
- Proficiency in menu planning, food service management, and catering operations
- Familiarity with food industry standards including culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and hospitality best practices
- Previous experience working in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on serving high-quality cuisine

Pay: $22.30-$26.05 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
