Light Owl is a growing landscape lighting company that designs and installs high-quality outdoor lighting systems across the Lower Mainland. We’re looking for a motivated Outdoor Lighting Installer to join our team and grow with us.
No experience required! We’ll teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Install and wire low-voltage lighting systems
- Trench, dig, and run underground cable
- Hang Christmas and outdoor string lighting
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing lighting systems
- Work comfortably on ladders, roofs, and trees (not afraid of heights)
- Assist with site setup, cleanup, and client satisfaction
- Participate in door-to-door marketing during downtime or slower periods
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Positive attitude and eager to learn
- Enjoys working outdoors year-round
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders safely
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Work Hours
Our work is project-based, which means some days may run longer to complete a job before weather changes or deadlines. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, around 7 AM – 3 PM, with occasional seasonal weekend work.

Work Area
Projects are primarily in Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, and Coquitlam, with occasional work in nearby cities.
