Gas Station Attendant ( PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. As a Gas Station Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. If you have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with fueling their vehicles and provide information on available services
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restrooms, fuel pumps, and store area
- Monitor fuel levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning windows, sweeping floors, and emptying trash bins
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Fluent in English with good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Experience in technical sales or customer service is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong ability to sell products and upsell to customers
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
- Highly organized with attention to detail
-Must be able to carry up to 40lbs
- Must be able to stand for long durations
- During Winters, must be able to shovel snow and salt sidewalks, store front, fuel delivery area.
Education:
· Secondary (high) school diploma
Experience:
· Previous gas station experience is an asset
