Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Laborer will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace while ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and products.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Flexibility with working hours, including the potential for overtime when necessary.
