Line Cook
The Olde Dublin Pub is seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team.
Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and plating dishes according to established recipes and restaurant standards. Working under the direction of the Chef and Sous Chef, this role plays a key part in maintaining a smooth, efficient kitchen especially during peak service hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment throughout service
- Ensure all food is prepared and cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented to standard
- Clearly communicate with line cooks, prep staff, and front-of-house team members
- Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients to minimize waste
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Support opening and closing duties, including thorough cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment
- Notify the Chef or Sous Chef of any equipment, product, or quality concerns
- Work efficiently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall restaurant operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or catering environment
- Culinary training or certification is considered an asset but is not required
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to execute recipes accurately and consistently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
