Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions, supporting landscape projects that enhance residential areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Prior experience with landscaping or carpentry knowledge is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including laying sod, building patios, building decks and fences.
- Operate hand tools, power tools.
- Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including setting up structures and pathways
- Conduct routine maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents and injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with landscaping or carpentry.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as skid steers is advantageous
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Prior experience in landscaping or related fields is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driver’s license is required for operating equipment or traveling between sites
