Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse's Aide to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Maintain accurate patient records using computer systems and medical terminology
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with healthcare standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to address needs and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with medical procedures as directed by licensed nursing staff while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage time efficiently to prioritize patient care tasks throughout shifts
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and general computer operation
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care procedures
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care with attention to detail
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and assist with medication administration
